Vapour barrier
Vapour barrier

Usage:

  • insulation of dampproofing and waterproofing parts of the building
  • insulation of floors on the ground in basements and garages
  • execution of vapor barrier layers (terraces, flat roofs)
  • bonding of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and extruded polystyrene (XPS) boards

Advantages:

  • resistant to all aggressive substances naturally occurring in the soil
  • ready to use
  • can be used on dry and damp surfaces
  • creates a coating with high resistance to cracking (fibre-reinforced)
  • safe in contact with polystyrene
  • has excellent adhesion to mineral substrates
  • resistant to weather conditions

Selected technical parameters:

  • composition: water dispersion of asphalts, rubbers and improvers
  • bulk density: 1.10 ± 0.05 g / cm³
  • film formation time: ≤ 4 hours (for a thickness of approx. 1 mm)
  • time between applying individual layers: approx. 4 hours
  • resistance to rain: after approx. 12 hours
  • backfilling the excavation: after approx. 3 days
  • application: trowel, spray
  • resistance to water under pressure: 0.8 MPa (layer 4 mm)
  • bonding capacity of concrete / polystyrene parts: approx. 130 kPa
  • substrate and ambient temperature during application: from + 5 ° C to + 30 ° C
  • product temperature: from + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C
  • cleaning tools: with water, after drying with a solvent
  • specification: EN 15814: 2011 + A2: 2014 (PN-EN 15814: 2011 + A2: 2015-02)

Consumption:

  • approx. 1.5 kg/m2/mm
  • dampproofing, layer thickness 2 mm: 3.0 kg/m2
  • dampproofing (residual / pressing water rainwater), layer thickness 3 mm: 4.5 kg/m2
  • dampproofing (pressing water), layer thickness 4 mm: 6 kg/m2
  • approx. 1.0 kg/m2 polystyrene bonding
