Vapour barrier
Vapour barrier

Usage:

  • insulation of damp-proofing and waterproofing underground parts of the building
  • insulation of floors on the ground in basements and garages
  • making vapour barrier layers (terraces, flat roofs)

Advantages:

  • resistant to all aggressive substances occurring naturally in the soil acc. to PN¬-EN 206-1
  • may be used on dry and damp surfaces
  • polystyrene granules contained in the compund facilitate the application of the required layer thickness
  • forms a coating resistant to cracks (fiber-reinforced)
  • safe in contact with polystyrene
  • does not run off vertical surfaces
  • excellent  adhesion to mineral substrates
  • resistant to weather conditions

Selected technical parameters:

  • Composition: water dispersion of asphalts, rubbers and additives, powder component: modified cements
  • Bulk density: 0.75 ± 0.05 g / cm3
  • Pot life of the mixed components: approx. 90 minutes.
  • Coating formation time: ≤ 4 hours (for a thickness of approx. 1 mm)
  • Water resistance under pressure: 0.8 MPa
  • Crack-bridging ability under standard conditions: ≥ 3 mm
  • Time between the application of individual layers: approx. 5 hours
  • Rain resistance: after approx. 5 hours
  • Backfilling the trench: after approx. 3 days
  • Substrate and ambient temperature during application: from + 5 ° C to + 30 ° C
  • Product temperature: from + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C
  • Tools cleaning: with water, after drying with a solvent
  • Application: trowel

Consumption:

  • damp-proofing, recommended layer thickness of 3 mm: approx. 3.5 l/m2
  • waterproofing (residual water / pressing rainwater), recommended layer thickness 4 mm: approx. 4.5 l / m2
  • waterproofing (pressure water), recommended layer thickness 4-5 mm: approx. 5 l / m2

Packaging:

30 L
